Tropical Music Productions has been providing music for the most discerning of clients since 1986. The Caribbean Cruisers perform at about 150 Special
Events per year, mostly in the tri-state area but also out-of-town and
overseas. In our 25 years we have entertained presidents, dignitaries,
celebrities and the largest of corporations at the most famous venues in
NYC. We strive to work closely with our clients to assure that our audiences
can take full advantage of what we have to offer, and that our appearance at
your event is something we can be proud of.
Band size can be from 2-10 pieces. Small groups of 2-3 pieces including
steel drums offer an instrumentation perfect for background or atmosphere.
As more instruments are added, more repertoire and energy can be created.
Marimba Man Arthur Lipner’s marimba (www.arthurlipner.com), when
available, will add a touch of virtuosity and class to make your event even
more memorable.
Steel drums are unusual instruments due to their pitch range and
challenging technique. They require musical knowledge and professional
know-how to play. The same goes for properly planning Steel Drums and
Caribbean Music for your event. Making a decision only by comparing
prices in emails or short phone conversations often leads to an undesired
outcome. So, at any stage of planning please give us a call to discuss
the possibilities for your event. We offer you the voice of seasoned
professionals - on the phone and on-site! (212) 288-1133 or (203) 761-
0357.
